GE Concept Laser M2 Series 3

CDME student operating GE Concept Laser M2 Series 3

The GE Concept Laser M2 Series 3 uses selective laser melting (SLM) to create dense metal parts out of materials including nickel alloys, steels, aluminum alloys, and cobalt chrome alloys. It uses automated processes conducted in isolation to create a safe working environment.

This printer is commonly used for aerospace research applications such as novel lattice designs, aerospace alloy material parameter development and in-process monitoring work.
