Columbus Dispatch features CDME Researcher

Vimal Buck, senior researcher and director of cybersecurity at the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence (CDME), was recently featured in the Columbus Dispatch for his work on finding ways to protect autonomous manufacturing systems from hackers.
The article explains the work Buck and CDME students are conducting in the Artificially Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (AIMS) Lab can protect manufacturing technology from cyberattacks from hackers.
"As (automation) becomes a bigger part of the supply chain, we need to make sure that we can trust it," Buck said. "From nefarious state actors to smaller actors, the potential for harm and abuse is there."
